Decoy Plant’s Story Our story began in the early 1980s as a specialty carpentry workshop in downtown ‎Taipei, with a product portfolio of just one product, the hand crafted wood decoy duck. ‎That’s right, you guessed it, our trademark can be traced back to our humble beginnings as a ‎DECOY duck making PLANT. ‎ In the summer of 1989, looking to expand our creative horizons and production capacity, ‎we moved our base of operations from the island of Taiwan to the Kingdom of Thailand. ‎Discovering the skilled artisans and rich variety of natural materials Indochina had to ‎offer, Decoy Plant has never looked back since. ‎ Today, Decoy Plant is made up of hundreds of talented artists, craftsmen and designers ‎working throughout South East Asia and China. We offer products that can be found in ‎every room of the house. From rattan place mats on the dining table to bamboo lounge ‎chairs in the garden, hand painted lamps hanging by the bed, as well as the water lily ‎sofas for the living room. There are few aspects of home life that we have overlooked. ‎ At Decoy Plant, we take pride in making lasting impressions.
